London

Well it has been a while since the 2012 London Olympic Games and a lot has happened so stay tuned to this site for weekly updates on what’s happened since London but first I thought we should look at the big event itself.
As you all know I went off line during the games but I thought it would be interesting to keep note off what my tweet updates would have been whilst at the Games and going over them now 3 months later I find it funny to read so this web update will be a little different to normal. It will be in Twitter format.
Enjoy, Anna

- Shulika after quarters brought an interpreter to pass comment to me. Words of such heart-warming kindness. Making an impact :)
- Semi’s today with Guo… Here I go.
- At 130am I sit in my room starring at an object that resoundingly states I am the Olympic Sprint champion. All I can do at this moment is sit on my bed, hold that object in my hands and stare at it…
- I am after 3 attempts finally the Olympic Sprint Champion.

What followed the sprint final was 3 days of media, one day to tour around London to sight see with Mark before he flew home. I got my parents into the village with Mark to show them around after the sprint which was special to share. They even got to meet Steve Waugh. I have never seen my dad look like he had the excitement of a 10 year old in his eyes.  I watched the BMX finals and then the next day was the closing ceremony before we departed London bound for Australia. For more on that chapter. Tune in here soon.
I hope you have enjoyed this update
